Meet Jules the rescue seal
Jules was rescued on 3rd January 2012 at Old Hunstanton suffering from worms and re squinting eyes and weighing only 24kg. Apparently he took an age to fatten up and was finally released at Snettisham, Norfolk on 11th June weighing 47kg. So it is good to see seals rescued by the Centre surviving in the wild and a year and a bit down the line he had come along way geographically and seems to have settled in to the Isle of May community very well. It will be interesting to see if he sticks around. So if you are visiting over the next few weeks look out for Jules, he certainly seems to like visitors.
